Rito Perez age 55 of Tucson AZ, went to be with the LORD March 7, 2012.​​ Born May 22, 1956 in La Goma, Durango Mexico of parents Jose and Dolores Salazar Perez of 11 children.​​
His thirst for knowledge led him to get his GED and also take some business courses at Wayland Baptist University. Not only was he a student but also a great teacher. He taught English as a Second Language and also was a youth minister and bible instructor at the Date Street Baptist Church. Not only did he rejoice in the word of the Lord he was also filled with the passion of his songs. At the church he was also the music director. Every Sunday and Wednesday he led the congregation in the singing of his favorite hymns. During that time he had the daunting task of working at the Excel Meat Packing plant for over 20 years.
His positive attitude and his friendly demeanor also led him to be an excellent salesman. He worked with many dealerships and companies throughout the US selling cars and mobile homes. His love of traveling and kindness also served him well as a shuttle driver in Tucson for many years. He worked at Home Depot the last 2 years of his life. He loved nature and loved people. So working in the lawn and garden dept. was a perfect fit for him and he will always be remembered for his great smile and his positive work ethic.
He enjoyed expressing himself through his paintings and writing poetry. He was a man of love and generosity and his positive outlook on life will be greatly missed.

Escribo esto para ti
porque a veces tu piensas
que estoy muy lejos.
pero estoy mas cerca
de lo que piensas.
solo piensa esto.
yo soy la voz perdida
en la viento

estoy la gota de agua
que besa tus mejillas
cuando llueve.

que se ve

PARA MI HEROE
mi heroe es fuerte y habil
mi heroe es gentil y buen mozo
mi heroe es inteligente y amable
mi heroe tiene una dulce sonrisa
y una tierna mirada.
mi heroe es un gran maestro
de la vida ya pesarde todo
es humano como cualquiera
e a paz de lograr lo que se propone
no sabe guardar rencor
mucho menos odiar solo sabe amar.
mi heroe siente frio a si como calor
tristesa alegria tambien dolor
el es musico poeta y loco
sabe perder y ganar
con paciencia siempre esperar
pero nunca tiende a desanimar.

WHEN I'M AWAY
I wanted to leave these words when I am not near you and want to talk to me.
well look. love God more than all things always and thank the good and bad times of life.for the Lord will give them. Receive them as they come.
do not play with love. love with a sincere heart and one person at a time.
much love to your parents. and not judge their mistakes. because in spite of everything.they are your parents. and no one person more important to them like you.
is best to ask. to steal. stealing is wrong. request. is pride deprives you of many thingsand makes you unhappy.
remember your words you decide defeat or victory. talk and what you think is what youmake it.
in individuals and among nations ignorance is the basis of poverty. educate.
cares for others. mainly children. like it or not because you are their example. for tomorrowwhen they grow up. wish to be like you.
Be kind of physical impediment. but do not look with sadness.
Put love to each work or study you undertake. to guarantee you maximum satisfactionfrom it.
first smiles and receive thousands of smiles in response. with a smile you can earn up toyour worst enemy.
never forget your friends because friendships worth more than money.
practice this. Stay close to God and he will give you the desires of your heart.
