Early Settlers Day Art Show Featuring "Celebrating Levelland and West Texas"

The Wallace Theater is excited to announce that we will host an ART SHOW on Early Settlers Day, Saturday, July 11th featuring YOU Levelland Area Artists. The theme is “Celebrating Levelland and West Texas”. We will accept two submissions on the theme and two off theme of any medium beginning Monday, June 29th at the Wallace Theater, 823 Houston Street, Levelland TX. Items for consideration must be received no later than Wednesday, July 1st at 6:00pm. Selections for the show will be made by Friday, July 3rd. We can’t wait to show off your work, talent, and creativity!! The fine print and details for artists… • All work must be presented ready-to-hang, preferably with a wire attached to the frame between one-third and one-quarter of the way down the sides of the piece. Stainless steel braided picture wire works best for smooth hanging. • Do not use saw tooth hangers. They are not strong enough to support the weight of a frame safely. • There is no size restriction, but please keep in mind that our wall space is limited and we will work to showcase art and talent from as many artists as possible. • You should also submit a short bio and photo of yourself to info@wallacetheater.com. • If you would like to sell your art during the show, you must also submit your tax ID number along with your price you would like your work to be sold for. • Art work selected for the show will be displayed at the Wallace until Friday, July 31st unless it is sold prior to that date. • For any questions, please e-mail info@wallacetheater.com.
